SARI has a number of innovative and integrated core projects and events that will address issues of xenophobia, racism and cultural diversity, develop leadership skills, increase social capital gain and generate intercultural dialogue and active citizenship through the medium of sport.

SARI Soccerfest is Ireland’s largest intercultural football tournament for men, women and children, attracting over 4000 people annually. Read More ››

World Refugee Day is celebrated with the annual Fair Play Football Cup. This tournament involves over 100 football players drawn from refugee and community groups and aims to highlight the contribution of refugees to communities throughout Ireland and the continued plight of the millions of people throughout the world who are forced to flee their homes to seek refuge and protection. Africa Week Athletics provides the opportunity for people of an immigrant background, particularly people of African background, living in Ireland to participate in the sport of athletics. Read More ››

Stick With Diversity introduces and fosters interest in baseball, camogie, cricket, croquet, hockey, hurling, rounders, shinty, softball and table tennis to young people from different ethnic backgrounds. Read More ››

Beach Cricket with UNITAS is an annual event allowing men, women and children of all skill levels from across the country to participate in a beach cricket tournament. The event is organized by UNITAS ISAC (Integration through Sports, Arts and Culture) in association with SARI. Read More ››
