SARI ALL STARS BEAT LOVE/HATE ALL STARS AT SOCCERFEST 2014

The stars of RTE's top drama Love/Hate were beaten 2 -1 by the SARI All Stars at the 18th annual SARI Soccerfest in the Phoenix Par, Dublin on Sunday. The SARI All Stars were captained by the Minister of State at the Dept. of Justice Aodhán Ó Ríordáin. SARI Soccerfest is Europe's largest intercultural 7-a-side soccer tournament, which aims to promote cultural integration and social development in Irish life through sport.

Former Dublin GAA player Jason Sherlock's second half strike sealed a 2-1 win over Love Hate All Stars in Sunday's All Star encounter. Peter Coonan aka Fran gave Love Hate the lead with an excellent strike midway through the first half. SARI drew level after the restart through a fine effort from former Leeds United player Alan Cawley before Noel King, U21 Republic of Ireland Manager, set up Sherlock for the winning goal!
