SOCCERFEST 2024
The 26th anniversary of Soccerfest was held in the Phoenix Park, Dublin on Saturday 14th September 2024 as part of SARI Sportsfest.
We were delighted to host a Men’s tournament, Women’s Tournament and Under-13 mixed gender tournament with more than 40 teams participating.
The Men’s tournament was won by East Coast.
The Women’s tournament was won by Inspire FC.
The Men’s Plate was won by Hot Press Purple.
The Under-13 mixed gender tournament was won by Belvedere Youth Club.
SoccerFest has grown into the largest 7-a-side inter-cultural tournament in Ireland attracting crowds of up to 3,000 people from over 60 different nationalities including teams from Direct Provision Centres and refugee communities.
In 1997 SARI launched SoccerFest bringing together people from new migrant communities and indigenous Irish communities. Soccerfest has been SARI’s flagship event for a quarter of a century: it’s a unique opportunity for people of different cultures and backgrounds to come together to compete for the prestigious SARI Soccerfest Cup.
