COMHAIRLE NA NÓG

SARI Young Leaders Taha Hassen and Teo Hajii were honoured to attend last weekend’s Dublin City Council Comhairle na nÓg Youth Council panel discussion on migration in Ireland and how we can challenge the negative representation of refugees in our communities.

Taha shared his journey with SARI and spoke about the power of our programmes, projects and events in promoting inclusion and belonging.

It was inspiring to stand alongside Councillor Daniel Ennis, Detective Chief Superintendent Brian Woods, Jaime Hutton from the Irish Refugee Council and Mary Henderson from the Immigrant Council of Ireland — all united in the mission to support refugees, IPAs and stronger communities.
