TRIBUTE TO TOYOSI AT GARDA SPORTS GROUNDS SATURDAY 15TH MAY
SARI has organised a game between Bray Travellers Development Group and Insaka FC as a memorial tribute to Toyosi Shittabey, who was stabbed to death in a violent attack on Good Friday. The game is hosted by Blanchardstown Community Garda and will take place at the Garda Sports Grounds, Westmanstown at 2pm on Saturday 15th May.
The winners will be presented with a perpetual trophy (sponsored by the FAI) by Minister for Integration, Mary White. Both teams, who will include guest players, will be presented with a specially struck medal by Garda Assistant Commisioner Mick Feehan.
This inaugural game of an annual event, previews Africa Day and is part of SARI's contribution leading up to the UNESCO International Day for Diversity.
