STREETFOOTBALLWORLD PLAYER SIGNS FOR MANCHESTER UNITED
Tiago Manuel Dias Correia (aka Bebe) a graduate of Streetfootballworld network member CAIS, from Portugal, has been signed by Manchester United for an undisclosed fee rumoured to be in the region of €10 million euro. Just over a year ago Tiago was playing for CAIS at the Streetfootballworld Festival in Bosnia alongside SARI and 22 other network members. In July of this year Tiago was signed by Vitoria de Guimaraes from Portugese third division team Estrela Amadora. He played in several pre-season friendlies for Vitoria de Guimaraes, was spotted by Manchester United scouts and the rest is history. The dream is alive! Good luck Tiago!
What makes this story even more extraordinary is that Tiago, born in Cacem, was raised in an orphanage, Casa do Gaiato, and spent part of his childhood living on the streets.
