SARI SOCCERFEST 2010 CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS
We are looking for volunteers to come on board and join us for the biggest inter-cultural sporting event in Ireland. SARI Soccerfest 2010, supported by CONCERN Worldwide, will take place on Sat 11th and Sun 12th September in the Phoenix Park at the Garda and Camogie Grounds from 10am - 6pm. Soccerfest is the largest inter-cultural football tournament in the country and an annual highlight in the SARI calendar. Over 40 men and women’s teams from a wide range of nationalities now living in Ireland, will battle it out for the SARI Cup - and this year the “All Star” celebrity match is much anticipated.
The festival will be an exciting, fun-filled weekend for all the family hosting the Concern global village marquee including the global post office, children’s workshops, African games - plus there will be live music, world music DJ’s, face painters, clowns, juggling demos, penalty shoot outs, samba soccer skills…
There are lots of ways for you to get involved as Info Officers, Crew, Pitch Co-ordinators, Stewards, Workshop attendants.
We are seeking 40 volunteers.
We are looking for a commitment form 8.30am to 5.30 pm (or hours in between these times).
