At the heart of the Soccerfest is a 7-a-side soccer tournament with 40 teams from all over Ireland and players representing more than fifty countries. On Saturday 11th qualifying matches take place. Eight groups of five teams, with each team playing four matches. Top two teams qualify to play in the SARI Cup on Sunday 12th. Third and fourth placed teams qualify for the SARI Plate. Fifth placed teams are knocked out.

There is also a women's competition on the Sunday with eight teams competing for the SARI Respect Cup.

Alongside this there is plenty of entertainment and music and a Global Village marketplace for NGOs over the two day event.
