LEINSTER FOOTBALL LEAGUE INVITES NEW TEAMS FOR 2010/11 SEASON

The Leinster Football League is a voluntary organisation affiliated with the Football Association of Ireland and arranges soccer fixtures for various clubs around the Leinster area. The League currently has players from Latvia, Turkey, Russia and Poland playing soccer on a weekly basis and is committed to stamping out the spread of racism and also encouraging increased participation in football among people from minority ethnic and cultural backgrounds.

The Leinster Football League season runs from August to July. The League fees for the season are 280 euro per club(if paid before Oct 1st this fee is reduced to 200 euro). Grounds are available to rent in the Phoenix Park should clubs require them - including male and female changing rooms, shower facilities and car parking. Fixtures appear in the Evening herald every Monday, on RTE aertel page 436 and on the O'neill's Leinster Football League website. There are various Leagues: Saturday (2pm kick off) and Sunday (11am/12pm/1pm/2pm/3pm kick offs). There is also an Under 19 division starting this season.
