SARI/UNHCR WORLD REFUGEE DAY FAIR PLAY CUP
It is estimated that there are currently 3,000 Refugees in Ireland. War, persecution and global upheavals have currently displaced 43 million people worldwide. World Refugee Day 2013 will be marked in Ireland by the 4th annual SARI/UNHCR Fair Play Cup which will take place on Sunday 16th June at the Law Society, Blackhall Place, Dublin 7. Launched by FIFA in 2005, Football for Hope is an initiative contributing to social development around the world. Support is provided to selected programmes run by non-governmental organisations that use football as a tool in their daily work to engage children and young people.
