SARI CALLS FOR CONFEDERATE FLAG TO BE BANNED

After appearances at GAA matches the Confederate flag, symbolising racism and slavery should no longer be allowed to be flown.

In response to the flying of the flag SARI’s International Officer Ken McCue called for a banning of the flag at Gaelic Athletic Association matches. Ken’s call created quite a stir amongst media and fans and appeared in print and radio across Ireland and received attention internationally.
